A bit of Justice, Wolfgang Gartner, Knife Party. I cant help but feel a tad dupstepped out! But then I think back to how awesome Skrillex was at LED fest, maybe, for me, it just not bedroom listen material. On saying that this Pretty Lights - I know The truth interests me an awful lot.......

Bargain Bucket!! KFC advert music

Absolutely lovin the song on the new advert for KFC Done a bit of googling and its a band called Temple Cloud featuring a singer called Leah Symons. There are clips on you tube but cant find the full version yet :-( Word on the street is she usually does vocal for hardcore/trance/dance tracks, you can check out Leah Symons myspace here Now I like a rave but Need you More is a bit hardcore for my likin as is Move On, Let the Feeling Grow (Peacemaker & Leah) is actually something I could quite happily throw some shapes to and The Snugs ft Leah - Strugglin' is more sort of funk with sax and scratchin, i like!

So that is my opinion on what I can find of her now but one thing is for sure, her voice is stand out and I am sure we are going to hear much much more of her in the future...watch this space.

tweet brings grin

@Scroobiuspipyo  Just heard a cry of "Shut up or i'll kick your big fat gypsy head in!" #goodpunning

I knew I watched ANTM for some reason

And its not just because its addictive trashy TV! Its because once smising, self absorbed, yo-yo Tyra has stopped telling the world she is now a photographer and invites a pro along, they are usually damn good. On saying that, that shoot Tyra did for ANTM, I think in New Zealand, with the table cloth shadow was actually pretty cool. Anyway this week guest photographer was Francesco Carrozzini amazing, not to mention totally hot, and annoyingly younger than me, photgrapher who has shot for Vogue, Spin , Rolling Stone to name a few. On having a butchers through Google images after a name search I came across the below delight

L.A Story. for Vogue Italia featuring model Rie Rasmussen

It and the rest of the set, shot for Italia Vogue were featured on this blog. And I cant stop looking at them, take a peak here.
On a Next Top Model note good to see Joy, finalist from BNTM Season 6 in Look magazine last week. She was my favourite!
DOH - on looking pictures for this blog I accidently found out who won the series I am half way through on Living TV. Damnit.

Dreaming of Summer

Sunlight by Bag Raiders

Fresh new kicks and pants

Yep am sporting harems today at work, which, in fact are actually PJs mmmm comfy!
Comfy but not so comfy that I dont have a massive urge to get up and dance to this in the middle of the office......

#listeningto

a lot of Radio 1! In partiular Annie Mac's show of course and Rob Da Bank's. Which is actually on at 5am - 7am on a Saturday morning but I recently downloaded the Tune In Radio App on my phone and you can listen live, listen to particular shows at anytime and also record shows! Anywho few tunes I heard I like.
Cassius are back, this pleases me, smiley face. Skream on the remix - awesome! something old skool about it I just love. Orginal track, out on valentines day!

I talked about Chilly Gonzales his ablum Ivory Tower and the tune I am Europe a little while back and now the song You can Dance or a fair few remixs of it are getting a lotof air time and it no wonder. Partiularly enjoyed the Shadow Dancer Remix played by Jaymo and Andy on Annies show last week.
And also Yell - Safari Disco Club. Now coul dof sworn this was more chilled on Rob Da banks show but tracklisting doesnt say it was a remix - meh, orginal is pretty damn cool anyway!

Also this week been thinking about running a little experiment. Now I am pretty sure my brother, with whom I rent a flat,  has never once emptyed the bin in our kitchen, been there a year and 4 months. So I am not going to do it frm now on and see how long it takes him, with photographic evidence. hehe.

Musique française vendredi

My friend had a little idea today, which resulted in us missiling a few youtube links to each on email today. French Music Friday. See below what came of it. Any suggestions of more from anyone?
Other things the come into me head when I think of France apart from good music; bread, yes all bread, garlic, snails, garlic snails, snowboading, navy and white striped jumpers, Pepe le Pew.

Feeling for you - Cassius
Lady (Hear Me Tonight) - Modjo
Too Young & Listzomania - Phoenix
Harder, better, faster - Daft Punk

All I need - Air

Not so weekly Transmisson

Because: I have got a few internet access issues, my laptop has decided its disk space is full and keeps crashing , even though there is literally nothing on it apart from some music. Removal onto external drive needs to be done.  Battery is bust as well it’s got to always be on charge! My friend very kindly lent me his netbook which also didn’t want to work for me, just got a grey screen, I am told its coz Mr Netbook is confused. Or maybe its coz I have bad luck with comps as well and cars.
Which leads nicely into my 2nd reason, my car. I told my dad a fuckin age ago I needed a new bottle top for my car, my dad: “no, no ,no you don’t it’s the right one, its fine” well he was bloody wrong had the AA out on Monday, I really get my monies  worth from them, 4th time in 2 months!  and past 2 days I have had to leave poor Ernie (my car) on the side of the road a 20 min walk away from work, first time I stopped before all the water came out, wasn’t so lucky this morning, so hope I haven’t cooked the engine.
Other reasons include; getting drunk, being crawled on by a maggot, okay didn’t really stop me from posting but it did make me feel a bit sick, at work, it was just there crawling on my sleeve, okay okay it also could have  been a baby caterpillar! Being stung by a wasp for the first time, it hurt, still hurts, but I am very please I am not allergic and didn’t go into an-er-fa-lac-tic (sp!) shock * Thumbs up*
Basically what I am trying to say is....sorry!

Weekly Transmission

LISTENING TO: as below, I am Kloot - Because, can not get enough of that song. Rosko - Peacemaker and Lotus Eaters - First Picture of you These two remind me of one crazy party I went to with some very good friends 8 years ago, it was a no sleep affair, some random crack ho turned up about 4am, I mean she was a real ho, sold herself for money, there was a drugs raid in a den just outside as we were leaving and we lost one friend to a bush on the way home. Also been listen to Boys Noise I the hope of seeing them on Sunday at SW4 unfortunately bro couldn't get hold of tickets, in particular been listening to Jeffer
GETTING EXCITED ABOUT: Well not going to SW4 but am going to Notting Hill Carnival for Norman Jay (Good Times) my friends suggestion, Mr Spary, legendary Uni friend, haven't seen for 6 months, gunna pack some rum and coke and make my way there Sunday. After good times may hit Blank Canvus after party.  Also getting my Vintage at Goodwood photos developed from my Lomo Fish Eye 2 camera fingers crossed for some goodens! Getting into my friends dark room to do some experimentation of developing colour film using black and white chemicals. And this blog!
READING: Lots about cameras; RED camera systems, need to read more about this, but fear of actually wanting to buy one of these (expensive) systems stopped me! and also The Impossible Project - reinventing and reproducing Polaroid cameras and film - ace! Also read Empires 50 top comic book characters, Spidey at number 5 - outrage!
GIGGLING AT: National Theatre twitter fuck up "Well, Steve Norris is clearly a giant cunt". A sausage dog in a giraffe outfit. Cheese on toast faces photos of my friend who I met at Global Gathering.
OTHER: drinking too much wine, a blast from the past, my mother saying "you and Scott are festival nuts.......festnuts!" and my best friend moving in with her man, who I haven't met yet!!
